Hi there, friends. Today we are turning on the lights inside MIP. With admin rights, go to Security, Manage Audit Trails, Set Up Advanced Organization Audit. You need the Advanced Security module for this feature. When you enable tracking on a record type, MIP records what changed, the before and after values, who made the change, and when. You can watch vendors, customers, employees, chart segments, payroll codes, and more. That means you can see if a vendor name was edited, if an employee pay rate moved, or if a check was deleted. You get a full trail you can trust.
Here is the tip. Use Advanced Organization Audit to strengthen controls and monitor sensitive updates because clear trails stop small issues from becoming big ones. Turn it off during system setup or imports so performance stays fast. Turn it back on when you go live. Simple, safe, and accountable.
