Overview
The MCG MIP® Foundations Bootcamp is designed to help users build a strong working foundation in MIP Accounting®. This session covers system structure, navigation, transaction workflows, reporting, and budgeting with a practical focus on how MIP® is actually used day to day. Separate Classic and Modern offerings ensure attendees receive training aligned with the version they use.
Built for practical application
This bootcamp focuses on real workflows, not abstract theory, so attendees can apply what they learn immediately in their own MIP® environment.
Designed for stronger efficiency
From offsets and allocations to memorized entries and reporting tools, the session highlights ways to save time and reduce manual effort.
Structured for complete foundation building
Attendees gain a broad understanding of how MIP® works across key areas so they leave with stronger confidence and clearer system understanding.
Need a stronger MIP® foundation?
This bootcamp helps users move beyond basic familiarity and into confident, efficient day-to-day use, in either Classic or Modern.
Best fit for: New MIP® users, developing users, and teams that want stronger consistency across transactions, reporting, and budgeting.
Know Before You Go
McGovern Consulting Group recommends that attendees start learning before bootcamp day so the live session can build on a stronger foundation.
Start with 2 Free Courses
Before attending a bootcamp, we recommend that each participant register for and complete at least two free courses in our training portal. This gives attendees a head start on basic concepts and helps them get more value from the live bootcamp experience.
Why this matters: Bootcamp time is most valuable when attendees arrive with some familiarity. Completing free courses first helps participants follow along more confidently, ask better questions, and connect the live instruction to work they already do in MIP®.
We Trust You
McGovern Consulting Group is providing this bootcamp as a focused, live training experience for registered participants. We trust attendees and organizations to respect the learning environment, the instructor, and the other people who paid to attend.
Please do the right thing: A $399 bootcamp pass is for one registered user only. Sharing access, allowing others to watch or listen in, recording the session, or turning one registration into a group training opportunity undermines the service we are providing and is not permitted.
Use the Zoom desktop application
Participants must have Zoom installed on their device and must not attend through the web version.
Keep audio private
Participants must use a headset, headphones, earbuds, or another device that keeps the session audio limited to the registered participant. Calling in on speakerphone is not permitted.
No recording or transcription
Screen recording, audio recording, video recording, AI transcription, live transcription, or any other capture of the bootcamp is not permitted.
No room sharing
If other people are in the same room as the participant, they must not be able to see, hear, or meaningfully participate in the session in any way.
Failure to follow these requirements may result in removal from the bootcamp with no refund. By purchasing any MCG MIP® Foundations Bootcamp pass, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Choose the Right Bootcamp Version
MIP® Foundations Bootcamps are offered in two separate versions so your training matches the interface and workflows your team uses. Please confirm whether your organization uses Classic or Modern before registering. Each $399 bootcamp pass is assigned to one user only and may not be shared with another attendee.
MIP® Foundations Bootcamp - Classic
Designed for users working in the Classic version of MIP. Classic sessions alternate monthly with Modern as the schedule continues.
MIP® Foundations Bootcamp - Modern
Designed for users working in the Modern version of MIP. Modern sessions alternate monthly with Classic as the schedule continues.
Important: These are separate bootcamps. To make sure you receive the most relevant training, please purchase the version that matches your MIP® platform.
One pass means one user: The $399 bootcamp pass is for one individual attendee only. If another person from your organization wants to attend, they must complete their own registration and purchase a separate $399 pass. Please contact McGovern Consulting Group directly if you have questions or concerns before purchasing.
