How to Use the “Find” Feature to Clean Reports in MIP
Follow these steps to locate and remove outdated reports from your system:
Step 1: Open the Reports Module
Go to the appropriate section (e.g., Financial Statements, Accounts Payable) to view saved reports.
Step 2: Click the “Find” Button
This powerful tool allows you to search for reports across your entire system.
Step 3: Sort by “Last Used” Date
Sort reports by their Last Used field to quickly see which haven’t been accessed in months—or years.
Step 4: Select Multiple Reports
Check the boxes next to reports you want to remove. This is especially useful for cleaning out test or training reports.
Step 5: Click the Red X to Close or Delete
Click the red X icon to close or delete selected reports. You’ll be asked to confirm before anything is removed permanently.

- Use consistent naming conventions for easier sorting and searching
- Export critical reports to secure drives before deleting them
